MrBeast Set to Launch His Own Phone Company, According to Reports

MrBeast, the 27-year-old renowned YouTuber famous for his extravagant challenges and giveaways, is exploring a new venture: he is reportedly set to launch his own mobile phone company.

As per Business Insider, which reviewed a leaked investor presentation, MrBeast plans to introduce a mobile phone service next year. The report also mentioned that he and the executives at Beast Industries are looking into fintech and mobile gaming as part of their expansion.

The YouTuber’s latest initiative involves creating a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), a model that offers mobile services by utilizing the networks of major providers like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. By collaborating with one of these carriers, MrBeast can deliver competitive rates and quality service without the substantial investment needed to establish a network independently.

This strategy mirrors those of other celebrities, including Ryan Reynolds, who partnered with Mint Mobile, a company sold to T-Mobile for approximately $1.35 billion. T-Mobile has previously partnered with MrBeast to provide an MVNO solution.

This new endeavor is part of MrBeast’s broader strategy to expand his brand, which includes food brands Feastables and Lunchly, as well as a toy line. The mobile company could contribute to making his business profitable. Despite having a vast audience of around 430 million YouTube subscribers, his media ventures have not yet generated profit.

Last year, MrBeast’s side project, Feastables, reported about $250 million in sales and over $20 million in profit, according to Bloomberg. In contrast, his media operations, which encompass his YouTube channel and a reality competition series on Prime Video, incurred losses of nearly $80 million.
