SIYA KOLISI CELEBRATES EBEN ETZEBETH’S BIG WIN

However, against the backdrop of the win, Eben Etzebeth is making headlines after he went down in the history books of South Africa’s rugby.

The celebrated Sharks lock became South Africa’s most-capped player. He surpassed Victor Matfield’s 127 test mark. It took Eben Etzebeth 12 years to achieve this feat.

After the final whistle, social media was abuzz with congratulatory messages. Fans and fellow athletes took to Instagram to celebrate Eben Etzebeth’s big win with the Springboks.

Despite making a heartfelt tribute earlier in a post-match interview, Springboks referenced his friend’s big win with a bible verse.

He posted, “Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

After all, he joins a host of Boks stars who have celebrated Eben Etzebeth’s big win with some scriptures.

After the match, Springboks speedster Cheslin Kolbe shared a devotional post that left many in tears.
