Kamohelo Mokotjo was closely linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs before eventually putting pen-to-paper at Sekhukhune United at the beginning of last year.

Mokotjo himself confirmed talks with the Glamour Boys however, Brandon Truter managed to convince the well-traveled midfielder to join his side instead.

Mokotjo made 50 appearances for Babina Noko and now, reports suggest he’s ready to open the next chapter in his career.

The former Brentford and FC Twente star has recently been linked with a move to Cape Town City FC however, a return to Europe is still on the cards!

Former Chiefs target eyeing European return?

“At this point it looks like Cape Town City might win the race for his signature because he hasn’t renewed his contract with Sekhukhune from what I know,” a source told Citizen.

“Don’t rule out a move back to Europe because Kamo is keeping his options open. He wants a new challenge after doing a good job at Sekhukhune and he brings a wealth of experience that Cape Town City can benefit from.”
